The Political Spectrum
A Revolution of Thought
CAUSES OF REVOLUTIONS-Created for seating arrangements in the French Parliament.
-As people were unhappy with the way of government, the political spectrum helped give a basis of how to improve the government. | CONSEQUENCES OF REVOLUTIONS-After revolutions, the leader usually had new thoughts on governing, so as time went on the governments shifted on the political spectrum.

A Better Understanding of the Political Spectrum
- Communism, Socialism, and Liberal are in between being radical and moderate and tend to be poor.
- Conservative, Plutocracy and Fascists are from moderate to reactionary, are rich and have a traditional society.
- In Communism, everything is to be owned by the government. Marx is a communist.
- A Socialist, like Owen, believes in public ownership of the big productions. The economy is controlled by the government.
- Liberals want regulation in the economy, but at the same time want freedom socially. They want more control and freedom (smoke marijuana).
- Conservatives have no intervention by the government, but they do want protection socially.
- Rich people want to control the government in a Plutocracy.
- Being a Fascist means to focus on the state and let business do what it wants.
- The individual matters less as you go to the ends.
- Labor unions give workers from socialism and liberalism healthcare, because they are poor.
- Towards the radical side, there is redistribution of wealth or taxes.
- Towards reactionary, there are more rigorous law enforcements that they want. Also, Christians here are for abortion.

Radicals: favor extreme political change. Towards this side of the political spectrum, there is redistribution of wealth or taxes.
| Moderates: in between a radical and reactionarys, they side with either the radicals or the reactionarys depending on the situation.
| Reactionarys: return to old ways and are controlled by few. Towards this end on the political spectrum, there are more rigorous law enforcements that they want, and Christians support abortions.
